Bible Study Groups

  • Know Your Bible
    The
Know Your Bible group meet each Friday at 9.30am at 39/98 Bayview St., Runaway Bay. We explore in depth different aspects of the Bible teaching us to check what we hear in Church or from other Christians to ensure it matches with what God is saying in the Bible. Although we may be at different places in our journey with God, we all benefit from the contribution each one makes. “It is like looking at a diamond and seeing all the facets  God shows to each of us so we grow in faith and in friendship”.

  • Shenfield's Home Fellowship
Shenfields’ Home Fellowship Group meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at a different group members’ home at 7.30. Different studies are covered amidst a great time of fellowship. We are always open and welcoming for new people to attend.

  • Williams Bible Study
This is a Bible study for those wishing advanced knowledge of the Bible and is open to all irrespective of any Church affiliation. Teaching leans towards the truths of healing by faith in the Word Of God, but many aspects of the Christian faith are studied. Times are to 11.30am each Wednesday at 21 Teal Ave, Paradise Point. Members are encouraged not only to learn but to share the Good News.

  • Thursday Morning Prayer Group
As prayer is the source and Powerhouse of any Christian group, this prayer group meets every week to seek God’s direction, anointing and leading for the Paradise Point Uniting Church Congregation. If we as a worshipping community desire to see this congregation grow spiritually and numerically, then we will be encouraged should you wish to join with us at 8.00am Thursday.

  • R.E.
Religious Education is the Church’s responsibility to educate children within our schools the meaning of faith as instructed within the Bible. The lessons are followed by a curriculum set down by the Education Department.

  • Bethel
The Bethel Bible Series is a course which initially studies the Old Testament and progresses to the New Testament utilising concepts and symbolisms with pictures at Congregational level which allows everyone to participate. It is held on Wednesday afternoons and evenings as required.
