The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. The Walk to Emmaus Emmaus 4gets its name from the story in Luke 24:13-35, which provides the central image for the Walk to Emmaus experience. Active Christians who are seeking a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.

Why should I attend the Walk to Emmaus?
To strengthen my relationship with Christ, and to seek discernment about His will for my life.

Where and When are the weekends held?
The Gold Coast Emmaus Community holds separate weekends for men and women at Camp Tamborine, Tamborine Mountain, generally in May and October each year. The weekends begin on Thursday evenings and end on Sunday evening.
The next men’s walk is Thursday 18th October 2018.
The next women’s walk is Thursday 25th October 2018.

What is required for me to attend an Emmaus Weekend?

  • Active church membership and/or attendance
  • Completed application
  • Application fee (currently $185.00)
  • A sponsor – someone who has already attended an Emmaus Walk Weekend
